  • Making Walter White's House in Far Cry 5
    Time: Jan. 11, 2019

A fan recreated Walter White's house with the Far Cry 5's map editor. Even with the pizza that Walter threw to the ceiling , Far Cry 5's version of the house is almost indistinguishable from the real-life house apparent feature of the praised television program.

The scene was created completely in the incredibly complex arcade editor of Far Cry 5. With this tool, players can create unique maps in which others can play different game modes. However, Duncsmaps and others have found that the editor can also be used to create high-fidelity thumbnails of real locations, as well as the popular media franchise settings.

According to duncsmaps, this piece was inspired by Breaking Bad and took four hours for its creation. Although the map does not include the interior of the house and some exterior features, such as the pool, are missing, the designer added that it was "quite possible", "I have actually considered going back to this one and adding the interior, as well as the swimming pool in the back so that the entire scene is basically an explorable set ."
